The UBC Thunderbirds cross country teams posted 12th-place finishes at the 43rd annual Western Washington University Classic meet on Saturday morning in Bellingham. High winds and driving rain characterized the races, which went 10 kilometres for the men and six for the women, at beautiful East Lake Padden Park.
