VANCOUVER As the UBC Thunderbirds continue to prepare for the upcoming Canada West Cross Country championships, a number of athletes in blue and gold had some strong races on both sides of the border Saturday.

SEATTLE The UBC Thunderbirds men's cross country squad placed three runners in the top ten while securing second place as a team in their first race of the season Saturday at the Emerald City Open in Seattle.
